OUR HISTORY

Established in 1973 by Colin & Brenda Gaskell, CGB Precision Products had its beginning in their home in Mentone Victoria.
Colin’s mechanical engineering background and as a bearing Sales Engineer with Ransom & Miles (a UK bearing manufacturer) gave him a wealth of knowledge to establish a company that was unique at the time as a specialist supplier of high performance and high precision bearings supporting Australian machine tool manufacturers, airline instrument overhaul shops and RAAF.

Initially representing The Barden Corporation (USA) and with the support of their engineers allowed CGB to be the “expert” in bearing technology in Australia.

Over the years working with some of the world’s best bearing, fluid control, mechanical hardware & mechanical automation manufacturers, we have built a reputation as a Centre of Expertise for all kinds of applications in aviation, defence, manufacturing, medical instruments and more.
